Our department for applications development integrates our data science streams into our clients operations, ensuring they have the tools and functionality to adopt a data-driven approach. We build intuitive and innovative data-centric apps, allowing our clients to make brighter decisions. Combining our expertise on data analytics with a user-centered pathway, we offer bespoke solutions that address our clients’ problems and align perfectly with their current IT environments.

Our applications development team consists of full stack developers, technical leaders, UX designers and product owners. All of us our passionate about web development and eager to solve data-centric issues. We value sharing our expertise and we love the work that we do.

Within the team, our Full Stack Developers:

• Build applications using state-of-the-art frameworks and technology, to help our clients make strategic decisions and monitor their own investments and performance.
• Have direct engagement in all aspects of the development (API, UI, databases, etc.). Anyone in the team may be working on both the back-end and front-end, from specification to production.
• Work on a wide range of projects (web-based simulation platforms, optimization modules, geomarketing tools, social data streaming and analysis, ML micro-services etc.), always with other product engineers and often with Ekimetrics data scientists and consultants. Collaboration and team spirit are therefore key.
• Produce technical documentation on behalf of the team so that anyone can understand what has been developed, the issues they may face and how these can be solved.
• Must be able to explain the work to non-technical individuals (colleagues or clients).
• Must always keep in mind the business context of the project and communicate with the client to ensure their needs are being met.

Our typical projects last from 3 to 6 months and are designed and developed from our offices, allowing us to really work together over time, sharing our practices, etc.

To strive in this creative and demanding environment, our full stack developers will have a solid tech knowledge on web programming and data visualization, and experience with one or more of these frameworks: NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, Angular, React. Alongside this they will also have experience with database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
